We started The Mouse Factory 20 years ago by using some scrap fabric, and catnip grown in our garden, to make a few catnip mice. Then we  passed them out to our friends and coworkers and they said that their cats went crazy over them.  Well, we've been growing catnip and sewing and inventing new toys ever since!

Over the years we've gone to hundreds of cat shows, and sold our toys through cat shops, veterinarians, and our own mail order catalog.

Our products are made by hand here on our farm in South Central Pennsylvania. We use bright, beautiful, sturdy fabric and materials, and put plenty of our homegrown catnip into the catnip toys. They come in really fun designs too and are cat tested and cat safe.
